(27 March 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — Brigadier General Dayah Abdi Abdulle, Commander of the Somali National Army’s Infantry, has pledged to intensify the ongoing military operations against the militant group Al-Shabaab. His remarks came during his ongoing tour of SNA-manned military barracks in the Lower Shabelle region, aimed at bolstering troop morale and receiving updates from field commanders.
The Brigadier General’s recent visit to the region included briefings on the security and military dynamics in the region and surrounding areas. Commanders stationed in the areas he visited reaffirmed to the SNA’s senior officer their unwavering commitment to combat Al-Shabaab.
