(16 April 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — Deputy Police Commissioner of Somalia, Brigadier General Zakiya Hussein Ahmed, hosted a high-level Turkish police delegation at Aden Adde Airport in Mogadishu. The delegation, headed by the Head of the Turkish Police Foreign Relations Department Mr. Gökhan Demirtola, and his Deputy, Mr. Turgay OLGUN, was in the Somali capital at the invitation of the Somali Police Force Commander, Brigadier General Sulub Ahmed Firin.
The visit aims to bolster the existing collaboration between the Somali and Turkish police forces and to discuss the expansion of Turkish government-backed projects for the Somali Police.
