(06-06-24) DHUSAMAREB (Halqabsi News) – Security forces in Galmudug on Thursday apprehended several individuals allegedly responsible for the murder of two businessmen in Dhusamareb in October last year. The victims, Sheikh Hassan Diirshe Ade and Said Tahleel Mohamed, both from Adado, were targeted due to their clan affiliation.
The suspects are currently in custody at the Dhusamareb police station and are expected to face trial soon. Officials have also indicated that they are actively pursuing other individuals believed to be involved in the killings.
The arrests have brought a sense of relief to the families of the victims, who have been awaiting justice for the past year. The incident caused widespread fear and insecurity in Galmudug, particularly as it involved the targeted killing of innocent businessmen based on their clan identity.
