President Mohamud Chairs NCC Members Meeting at PM’s Residence

(08 Oct 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud chaired a meeting of the National Consultative Council (NCC) members at the residence of Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre.

Prime Minister Barre hosted the officials for a luncheon as part of the ongoing NCC discussions in Mogadishu. The meeting addressed critical national issues, including the war against Al-Shabaab, the democratization process, and upcoming elections. A communiqué is expected to be issued at the conclusion of the week-long discussions.
