(17-Feb-23) Mogadishu, Somalia – President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and his delegation have arrived in Addis Ababa to attend the 36th session of the African Union Conference. The conference will be attended by African leaders and will focus on the reform of the African Union, implementing the union’s vision for 2063, and addressing the challenges faced by the continent.
As the leader of Somalia, President Mohamud will present the vision of the Federal Government of Somalia for the future of the African continent. This will include the country’s efforts towards the fight against terrorism, the achievements made in the liberation of areas, and the importance of strengthening regional cooperation.
The President and his delegation will also hold talks with the leaders of African countries and other leaders attending the conference. The talks will provide an opportunity for the Somali delegation to discuss important issues, share insights and experiences, and strengthen ties with other African nations.
