President Mohamud extends condolences over death of former Galmudug President

(01-11-23) MOGADISHU — President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has expressed his condolences to the family, relatives, and the broader Somali population on the death of the former President of Galmudug, the late Mohamed Ahmed Alin.

President Mohamud highlighted that the late Alin played a crucial role in establishing the Galmudug State as well as his role in the federal system formation in Somalia. President Mohamud offered prayers for the late Alin. Alin was the second president of Galmudug state and passed away in his home in the UK on Wednesday due to natural death.
