(11-12-23) KISMAYO (HN) — The Federal Minister of Women and Human Rights Development, Ms Khadija Mohamed Diriye, held a meeting with Jubaland leader, Ahmed Mohamed Islan ‘Ahmed Madobe’ in Kismayo.
The discourse was primarily aimed at enhancing the empowerment of women and bolstering the safeguarding of human rights. Remarkably, the engagement coincided with the 75th anniversary of Human Rights Day, adding significance to the discussions.
President Madobe extended his gratitude to Minister Dirie for her productive visit to Kismayo, highlighting the importance of such high-level interactions.
In turn, Minister Dirie, representing the Federal Government’s commitment to women and human rights, expressed her appreciation for the hospitable reception in Kismayo, underscoring the collaborative spirit between the federal government and Jubaland State.
