(17-12-23) GAROWE (HN) — President Said Abdullahi Deni’s newly appointed dispute resolution and approval committee announced rigorous eligibility criteria for parliamentary candidates on Sunday, further intensifying the state’s political crisis. - No revocation of citizenship rights by a court order in the last five years.
- Minimum educational attainment of high school or equivalent experience.
- Presentation of family member selection processes.
- Submission of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Provision of two photographs and a biography (CV).
- A letter of innocence certifying no criminal record.
The committee has announced that the application process for eligible candidates begins today and will conclude on the 25th of December, 2023.
