(24-12-23) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — The Somali National Army and People’s Defense Forces have killed over 130 Al-Shabaab militants across Galmudug, Hirshabelle, and Jubaland states. The Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of key areas in Mudug region, including strategic positions like Shabeloow and Mount Yagoos.
In Middle Shabelle, forces cleared Al-Shabaab from fortified positions in dense jungle terrains. The operations extended to Middle and Lower Jubba, resulting in significant militant casualties and the seizure of weapons and equipment.
