(23-01-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — The Deputy Prosecutor for the Military Court, Colonel Mohamed Hussein Omar Saney, has issued a warning to the soldiers of the national army during a tour of the military barracks in El Dheer district, Galgaduud region. The caution pertains to the prohibition of carrying firearms into urban areas, discharging weapons without cause, or trafficking in ammunition.
Colonel Saney has mandated the troops to diligently protect the military’s property and its arsenal, particularly in light of the absence of domestic production facilities for military provisions.
Furthermore, the Deputy Prosecutor has advised against dereliction of duty, insubordination, and the instigation of disturbances that could provoke confrontations. He firmly declared that soldiers shirking their duties could face legal proceedings.
