(15-01-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — The Chief of the Somali National Army (SNA), General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhyadin, along with the Chief of the Somali Police Force, General Sulub Ahmed Firin, held a meeting with senior ATMIS officials in Mogadishu.
The meeting mainly discussed the crucial role of ATMIS in bolstering national security and enhancing the capital’s safety. Furthermore, the discussions focused on the ongoing war against Al-Shabaab.
Among the notable attendees were the Special Representative of the African Union Commission Chairperson and Head of the ATMIS Mission, Ambassador Mohammed El-Amine Souef, and General Sam Okiding, the ATMIS Force Commander.
SNA Chief General Muhyadin extended his appreciation to ATMIS for their key contribution to the nation’s stabilisation and the commendable sacrifices they have rendered during their tenure in Somalia.
