(06-02-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — Sheikh Adan Mohamed Noor, Speaker of Somalia’s House of Representatives, alongside Federal Parliament members, welcomed Dr Ali Muhidin Al-Qardai, Chairman of the Union of Islamic Scholars to Mogadishu on Tuesday, in a meeting aimed at reinforcing Islamic education and development initiatives within the country.
Joined by Abdifatah Adan Macalin, Director of Qatar Al Kheyriyah Agency, and Shuayb Abdiladief, Chairman of Zamzam Agency, the gathering underscored a collective commitment to bolstering the nation’s Islamic institutions and societal advancement.
Dr Al-Qardai expressed appreciation for the warm welcome and affirmed the Union’s dedication to supporting the Somali people and enhancing Islamic educational activities across Somalia.
Governor Sheikh Adan Madobe highlighted the importance of increasing development projects to improve infrastructure and social services, underlining the meeting’s significance in promoting a prosperous future for Somalia through strengthened Islamic and educational frameworks.
