(01-03-24) ANKARA (Halqabsi News) — President Hassan Sheikh of Somalia arrived on Thursday evening in Antalya to participate in the third edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF), aimed at bolstering the historic ties between Somalia and Turkey.
The ADF event in the diplomatic calendar is hosting representatives from 147 countries, showcasing its global reach and importance. This year, the forum, themed “Elevating Diplomacy Amidst Crises,” is set to address a wide range of global issues, including climate change, migration, Islamophobia, trade wars, and the implications of artificial intelligence.
According to diplomatic sources, the event, starting Thursday, expects nearly 4,500 attendees, a substantial increase from the 2,000 participants in 2021. The forum will feature 52 panels over three days, up from 30 panels in the previous year, reflecting an expanded agenda and the increasing significance of the forum in addressing global challenges.
