Federal Minister of Defence, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, has appointed Abukar Mohamed Hassan as the new spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence. The appointment is aimed at enhancing the communication strategies and expediting the ministry’s efforts against Al-Shabaab.
Minister Nur expressed his gratitude to Abdullahi Ali Anod, the outgoing spokesperson, praising his exemplary service during his tenure. He has advised Hassan to vigorously pursue the national mandate in his new role to further the ministry’s objectives.
