Jubaland leader Ahmed Mohamed Islan ‘Ahmed Madobe’ on Tuesday held a meeting with the Saudi Ambassador to Somalia, Ahmed Bin Mohamed Almowallad, in Mogadishu. The two officials deliberated on Saudi Arabia’s support for Somalia, particularly the Jubaland region.
Furthermore, the Jubaland leader met with the Deputy British Ambassador to Somalia, Sam Thomas. The agenda for their conversation centred around state-building, economic recovery, and security. The Jubaland leader has spent the last week in Mogadishu for the past few days, where he attended the National Consultative Council.
