Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments for the Federal Government of Somalia, Today, Sheikh Mukhtar Robow Ali, toured the new building for the ministry. The motive of the visit was to monitor construction progress, following the cornerstone laying by Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama in November 2023.
Minister Robow was accompanied during the inspection by the State Minister and the Director Director of the Ministry. Notably, the building project is a collaborative effort, driven by ministry leadership in partnership with the President and the Prime Minister of Somalia, representing an investment exceeding US$1 million.
The Director-General, Mohamed Haji Ibrahim, briefed the state media that the construction of the ministry’s headquarters has advanced through several phases and is anticipated to be completed on schedule.
