(19-06-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – HirShabelle leader Ali Abdullahi Hassan ‘Gudlawe’ said the anti-Al-Shabaab offensive aimed at liberating the entire HirShabelle territories from Al-Shabaab is progressing at a good pace with positive outcomes. He added that the military campaign accompanies government efforts to bolster governance and bring services to liberated areas.
President Gudlawe made the remarks at the annual prayer gathering in Eelow area near Warsheikh, Middle Shabelle region. The president noted that several developmental projects, including building health centres, schools, and water wells, are underway in the region, including Warsheikh.
He called on the public to support the HirShabelle administration in building local council administration and pacifying the regions.
