(25-06-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Minister of Education, Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir, visited high school examination centres in Bal’ad district, Middle Shabelle region, on Tuesday. Accompanied by State Minister for Foreign Affairs and Member of Parliament Ali Omar (Ali Bal’ad), and the Mayor of Bal’ad, the Minister inspected the ongoing national exams.
Minister Abdulkadir expressed satisfaction with the smooth administration of the exams and extended his best wishes to the students for successful results. He emphasised the importance of education in Somalia’s development and the government’s commitment to providing quality education opportunities for all young people.
The visit to Bal’ad district is part of a broader effort by the Ministry of Education to monitor the national examination process and ensure its integrity and fairness. The Minister’s presence also serves to motivate and encourage students as they take this crucial step in their academic journey.
