(08-07-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – The Office of the Auditor General of the Federal Government of Somalia presented a brief overview of the key findings from the audit for the fiscal year ending 31 December 2023, to senior management at the Office of the Accountant General, the Office of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Finance, and the House of the People.
The Office of the Auditor General said it remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring accountability and transparency in the country’s financial management processes. It also affirmed to address compliance challenges faced by government institutions to enhance operational efficiency and good governance.
Auditor General Ahmed Isse Gutale expressed gratitude to the offices and government institutions for their valuable contributions to the audit process.
