(22-07-24) DOHA (Halqabsi News) – Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre met with his Qatari counterpart, Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani in Doha. During their meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Somalia and Qatar and enhance cooperation in the areas of security, trade, education, and social development. According to the Office of the Somali Prime Minister, the two officials reached a consensus on all the discussed issues.
Prime Minister Hamza expressed his gratitude to the Qatari government for its support of Somalia. In return, Prime Minister Al-Thani assured that Qatar will continue to stand by Somalia. Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre arrived in Doha on Sunday for the Somali Diaspora conference which he inaugurated today.
