(11 Aug 2024) KIGALI (Halqabsi News) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud landed in Kigali, Rwanda on Sunday, to attend the inauguration ceremony of President Paul Kagame, scheduled for Monday afternoon. The event will see the participation of 22 heads of state, three vice presidents, two prime ministers, one deputy prime minister, two speakers of parliament, and five leaders of international and regional organisations, along with numerous other delegates, according to Rwanda’s Foreign Ministry.
President Kagame will be sworn in for a fourth term, following a landslide victory in last month’s elections, where he secured over 99% of the vote.
