(25 Sep 2024) BAKU (Halqabsi News) – Somalia’s Defence Minister, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, met his Azerbaijani counterpart, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, in Baku. The meeting, described as productive by Minister Nur, focused on bolstering defence ties and forging stronger security partnerships between the two nations.
“Today, I had a productive meeting with my counterpart, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Minister of Defence of Azerbaijan in Baku,” Nur tweeted. “We discussed strengthening defence cooperation and enhancing security partnerships for a safer future, tweeted Minister Nur.
The talks reflect Somalia’s ongoing efforts to build international alliances to improve its defence capabilities and address shared security challenges.
