(21 Oct 2024) GAROWE (Halqabsi News) – The Speaker of Puntland’s Parliament has invited federal MPs from both houses representing Puntland to attend the opening of the 55th session of the regional parliament, scheduled for Saturday, 26 October.
The invitation urges MPs to arrive in Puntland by 25 October to ensure timely participation in the event. The letter emphasised the importance of holding a consultation meeting to discuss the country’s overall situation. The invitation comes amid an unresolved spat between the federal government leadership and the Puntland administration over the modification of the provisional federal constitution.
