(16 Oct 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – The Somali Police Commissioner, Brigadier General Asad Osman, received Kestitis Lancinskas, the Head of the European Union Capacity Building Mission in Somalia, at his office on Tuesday. They discussed strengthening collaboration between the Somali Police Force and the EU Mission, focusing on counterterrorism efforts and increasing European Union support for Somali law enforcement.
The two officials addressed crucial security concerns, including the continued fight against terrorism in Somalia. The Somali Police Chief has been holding introductory meetings with some of Somalia’s key partners to bolster collaboration with the Police Force.
