The newly appointed Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Mohamed Ahmed Amir, has chaired a meeting to address the reconstruction and development of the capital, with a focus on strengthening its economic infrastructure.
The session was attended by Hassan Mohamed Jimale, the Deputy Governor for Public Works in the Banadir Regional Administration. Discussions highlighted the need to accelerate projects aimed at improving the city, particularly road construction, rainwater management, and the restoration of public facilities.
Mayor Amir called on leaders and staff of the Public Works Department to carry out their duties with integrity and accountability. He stressed the importance of ensuring transparency and rigorous monitoring of all ongoing projects.
