(20 Mar 2025) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Somalia’s Ambassador to Russia Mohamed A. Zubeyr on Thursday held an introductory meeting and exchanged views with His Excellency Nigel Casey, the British Ambassador to Russia.
Their discussions centred on the prevailing global political dynamics and the far-reaching implications these developments may have in shaping the world order.
The two envoys also seized the opportunity to deliberate on the general situation in the region, the state of affairs in Somalia, and the bilateral relations between Somalia and the United Kingdom. The UK has long played a pivotal role in Somalia’s progress, with a particular focus on security, humanitarian assistance, and development projects.
