(12 Mar 2025) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – The Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Mohamed Ahmed Amiir, on Tuesday night conducted an inspection tour of several business centres in the capital, assessing the security situation and the city’s rapid development. During his visit, Mayor Amiir engaged with local traders, personally making purchases at some of the businesses. He praised the local entrepreneurs for being the backbone of the city’s economic growth, commending their role in enhancing public services, beautifying the capital, and reinvesting in their homeland.
Accompanying the mayor on his visit was Colonel Abdifitah Shaaweeye, Commander of the National Intelligence and Security Agency’s Banadir Division, underscoring the administration’s commitment to supporting the business community and ensuring security in the bustling metropolis.
