(20 Mar 2025) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Somali Police Chief, Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi, and Deputy Chief Brigadier General Osman Abdullahi Mohamed chaired a high-level meeting in Mogadishu to enhance criminal investigations and justice administration.
The meeting brought together senior police officials and representatives from various security agencies. Discussions focused on streamlining criminal investigations, ensuring justice, and strengthening national security.
Participants emphasised the need to strengthen victim support, safeguard human rights, improve public services, and reinforce the rule of law to build public confidence in the justice system.
Brigadier General Abdullahi urged officers to enhance coordination and implement a robust information-sharing system to streamline investigations and improve inter-agency collaboration.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to implementing reforms aimed at improving criminal investigations and law enforcement effectiveness.
