(12-07-23) DHUSAMAREB – Somalia’s Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation, Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, has arrived in Dhusamareeb for a stabilisation conference in Galmudug. The minister’s arrival in Galmudug State symbolises the role this conference is set to play in the stabilisation efforts of the region. The Minister joins other high-ranking Galmudug authorities and Somalia’s stabilisation partners in the key discussions taking place at the conference.
The event is in conjunction with the National Stabilisation Programme, which has been successful in illuminating the streets of various towns such as Harardheere, Eldher, and Moqokori. The programme serves as an integral part of the ongoing efforts to stabilise and uplift the region.
