(19/07/23/) LUUQ – Mahmoud Sayid Adan, Vice President of Jubaland, chaired a crucial meeting held in the town of Luuq. The central aim of this pivotal meeting was to address the most pressing issues concerning the security and stability of the Gedo region.
Members of Somalia’s federal government, representatives from both branches of the Jubaland state government, the administration of the Gedo region, members of the security forces, and ATMIS representatives were present at the meeting.
The primary objective of the meeting was to escalate the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorist group and to fortify the security of the Gedo region.
