(06/08/23) MOGADISHU -The Speaker of the Somali Parliament, Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madoobe), has made two crucial appointments to represent the Somali Parliament in the African, Caribbean, Pacific, and European Parliament (ACP-EU). The distinguished individuals chosen to undertake this critical responsibility are MP Salim Ali Ibroow and MP Fahia Yusuf Omar.
In an official statement from the office of the Speaker of the Somali Parliament, it was confirmed that the General Secretary of the Somalia Parliament has been instructed to promptly submit the names of the appointed members to the ACP-EU Parliament. The submission aims to secure their rightful inclusion in their respective delegations.
This move is expected to strengthen Somali engagement and collaboration with ACP-EU countries, facilitating meaningful dialogue and cooperation on various regional and global issues.
