(18/08/23) MOGADISHU – On Thursday afternoon, at approximately 3 pm, a joint operation was executed by the Somalia National Army (SNA) and international allies in Cali Fuuto, located 35 km from Kuntuwaaray in the Shabeela region.
The decisive military action resulted in the eradication of over 20 Al-Shabaab terrorists. The primary focus of the operation was two buildings suspected to be bases for militant training and explosive assembly by the extremist group.
The well-coordinated raid culminated in the complete demolition of both facilities and the successful neutralisation of the militants inside.
