13/11/23) MOGADISHU – President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud chaired an urgent cabinet meeting on Monday, primarily focused on the flooding in the country and ongoing efforts to alleviate the natural disaster.
President Mohamud received updates from Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, who reported that the government had established a national committee to tackle the crisis affecting hundreds of communities in the flood-stricken areas.
President Mohamud returned from Saudi Arabia, where he attended the Saudi-Africa summit in Riyadh.
