(12-12-23) GAROWE (HN) — The Gara’ad Port in Mudug region is set to launch its first-ever livestock export. Authorities overseeing the facility have said that livestock export operations will begin in the forthcoming months.
The officials have also revealed the establishment of a new quarantine facility for livestock at Gara’ad Port. The port will conduct health inspections on the livestock before export.
It is anticipated that the port could emerge as a significant hub for livestock originating from Central Somalia and the Somali Region of Ethiopia.
