(27-12-23) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — Local Ma’awisley forces operating in Adadey area of the Middle Shabelle region apprehended three suspected Al-Shabaab militants and subsequently transferred them into the custody of government forces.
The local forces’ commander, Elmi Abdulle Ali, told state-run media that the detainees had completed militant training at Al-Shabaab camps. He added that the local forces are actively conducting security operations across the rural sectors of the Middle Shabelle region, aiming to dismantle the remnants of the group hiding in the terrain.
