(02-01-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — The Deputy Prime Minister of the federal government of Somalia, Mr. Salah Ahmed Jama, last night participated in an event to celebrate the achievements of the administration of the Banadir region, which was held at the capital Mogadishu.
The high-ranking government official lauded the Banadir regional government for rebuilding public infrastructure and improving service delivery as it expanded its roadmap for institutional excellence.
The Deputy Prime Minister urged the local Banadir administration to keep up with its invigorated spirit of improvement to raise public confidence while at the same time improving its efficiency.
“This year is a year of action, and we have achieved great strides that are important for our country,” said the Deputy Prime Minister while addressing cheerful participants. “The Banadir administration did wonderful work”
The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu, Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale) who spoke at the event said that the plan for his administration in 2024 is to improve the town’s sanitation system among other strategic plans. The event was graced by Ministers, Members of Parliament, security officials, and various heads of district and local government departments.
