(03-01-24) KISMAYO (Halqabsi News) — The Jubaland Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management held an accountability meeting in Dhobley district on Wednesday to discuss the mismanagement of aid and donations, in a move intended to enhance accountability.
The meeting, which addressed aid accountability and transparency, was attended by several state organisations headed by the local administration of Dhobley district.
Local officials said the purpose of the meeting is to enhance aid management, which includes effective coordination and follow-up with humanitarian organisations operating in the region.
