(17-01-24) DHUSAMAREB (Halqabsi News) — Galmudug President Ahmed Abdi Kariye ‘Qoorqoor’ has renamed Harardheere Public School after the late senior SNA Commander, Colonel Abdi Mohamed Sheikh Hassan “Suulnuug”. The honour came as a result of a proposal forwarded by the Ministry of Education of Galmudug.
In a solemn ceremony marking the first anniversary of Harardheere district’s liberation from Al-Shabaab control, President Qoorqoor formally announced the school’s dedication to Suulnuug, paying tribute to the martyr’s legacy and valour.
Colonel Suulnuug of the SNA’s Gorgor Commandos was killed earlier this month during anti-Al-Shabaab operations in the Mudug region. He was in command of the operations when he was fatally wounded, ultimately succumbing to his injuries.
