(17-01-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — Federal Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development, Mohamud Abdirahman Sheikh Farah (Beenebeene), together with Mr Abdifatah Hassan Osman, Director of Aid Coordination, held a meeting at the ministry with representatives from the Norwegian Embassy. The Norwegian delegation was headed by the Acting Ambassador, Mr Carsten Carlsen, and included the Head of Development Cooperation, Mr Erling Hess Johnsen.
The agenda of the meeting focused on the federal government’s key objectives for the year 2024. Discussions revolved around the formulation of the 10th National Development Plan, expediting the aid management process, and enhancing the bilateral ties between Norway and Somalia.
Minister Beenebeene extended his appreciation to the Norwegian government for its continued support and commitment to the Somali nation and its people.
