(11-02-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — Somalia’s Acting Foreign Minister, who is also the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ali Mohamed Omar ‘Ali Bal’ad’, received the incoming Kenyan Ambassador to Somalia, Ambassador Cyprian Kupay Iringo, on Sunday.
The Minister expressed his best wishes to Ambassador Iringo for a successful tenure, underscoring his anticipation for the ambassador’s role in furthering the enhancement of bilateral cooperation between the neighbouring nations of Somalia and Kenya.
Ambassador Iringo reciprocated with gratitude for the warm hospitality he received in Mogadishu and emphasised the significance of bolstering partnerships between the two countries, especially in the areas of security, trade, and economic development.
