(14-02-24) KAMPALA (Halqabsi News) — The Acting Ambassador of the Somali Embassy in Uganda, Abdiladif Mahamud Ali, was received by the Turkish Ambassador to Uganda, Fatih Ak at the Turkish Embassy in Kampala. The diplomats discussed the importance of the brotherly relationship between Somalia and Turkey and ways to bolster stability and peace in Somalia.
Ambassador Ali briefed on the latest developments in Somalia, pointing out that Turkey’s role is very important for peace in East Africa and the rest of the world.
On his part, Ambassador Ak stated that his government is committed to sustaining support to Somalia. Both officials agreed to maintain regular contact between their missions in Uganda.
