(18-03-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who has embarked on a two-day working trip to Eritrea, held a meeting with his Eritrean counterpart, President Isaias Afwerki, at State House in Asmara. According to Eritrean Information Minister, Yemane G. Meskel, the two leaders held an extensive meeting on the enhancement of bilateral ties of partnership as well as relevant regional and international matters. President Mohamud briefed his host on Somalia’s ongoing efforts to combat terrorism.
Following the discussions, Presidents Mohamud and Afwerki took a stroll through some of the vibrant public spaces in Asmara.
