(07 April 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — Las Anod City has been crowned the winner of this year’s annual Ramadan educational contest, held under the auspices of the Somali National Television (SNTV). The competition, which saw participation from 32 districts nationwide, was concluded on Sunday evening by Abdullahi Hayir Du’ale, the Director General of the Federal Ministry of Information.
Du’ale expressed gratitude to everyone involved in organising the event, with special commendation directed at the national media staff, the Banadir Regional Administration, and the IBS Bank for their collaborative efforts.
He also extended congratulations to the first, second, and third-place victors of the contest, with Las Anod securing the top spot against Mogadishu’s Hamarweyne district in the finals.
