(02-07-24) GAROWE (Halqabsi News) – The Puntland Regional Assembly on Tuesday approved the government budget for the remaining six months of 2024. According to a statement from the Puntland Ministry of Finance, the Parliament endorsed the government budget covering July through December.
The budget approved totals US$207,009,112 (two hundred and seven million, nine thousand, one hundred twelve dollars), as confirmed by the Ministry of Finance. “The budget approved by the Parliament today amounts to $207,009,112,” stated the Ministry.
Recently, the Ministry of Finance presented the July-December 2024 budget to the House of Representatives, where it underwent thorough deliberations and discussions before receiving confirmation.
