(05 Aug 2024) KISMAYO (Halqabsi News) – The military court of the Jubaland administration executed two men by firing squad on Monday for their involvement in the murders of two civilians. The men, identified as Yasin Osman Olow and army recruit Mohamed Abdullahi Said, were convicted for the killings of Muhyadin Abdi Hassan and Mohamed Deeq Nune Salah.
The executions took place in a firing spot in Kismayo, the capital of Lower Juba region. The victims’ families were present and welcomed the retributive justice served to the perpetrators. This year, the Jubaland military court has executed several convicts, including members of Al-Shabaab and security forces, who were found guilty of murder crimes.
