(08 Aug 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Acting UN Special Representative James Swan held a meeting on Wednesday with Somalia’s Minister of Information, Daud Aweis Jama, in Mogadishu. According to UMSOM, the discussions focused on the progress in developing Somalia’s media sector and the ongoing support from the United Nations for these efforts.
Additionally, the meeting touched on the federal government’s broader goals related to peace and state-building.
