(07 Oct 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Somali Police Commissioner Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi visited Mogadishu’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the Banadir Regional Police Command on Monday to assess the quality of public services provided by these facilities.
The Police Chief was welcomed with a guard of honour at CID Headquarters, mounted by police units. He then inspected CID operations, focusing on transparency and service efficiency, and took time to hear feedback from citizens receiving services.
At the Banadir Regional Command, Brigadier General Abdullahi met senior officers to discuss Mogadishu’s security status, recent operations against extremist threats, and new measures to enhance city safety. He urged officers to intensify their efforts to strengthen public confidence in security across the capital.
