(19/07/23) MOGADISHU – Somalia’s Accountant General, Abdirahman Mohmed, along with his Deputy, Abdiqadir Mohamed, conducted a comprehensive visit to the Aden Adde International Airport on Wednesday. The tour included the Aviation Management Office, the Central Bank Office situated within the airport, Immigration and Customs departments, the Civil Aviation Authority office, and other governmental establishments at the airport.
The objective of the Accountant General’s visit was to assess the daily work progress of these agencies and the quality of services rendered to the Somali people.
The Government has recently emphasised the importance of providing high-quality public services. It has also advocated for enhanced transparency and accountability. This visit aligns with such directives, fostering continuous improvements within these vital institutions.
