(20/07/23) MOGADISHU – On Thursday, the regional court of Banadir began hearing a case involving four officials accused of corruption and embezzlement of public funds while working for the National Immigration Agency of Somalia.
The four defendants, Abdulahi Mohamud Osoble, Omar Maalim Noor, Sabir Hassan Abdinur, and Adan Mohamed Abdi, were brought before the Banadir regional court to face charges regarding their involvement in corrupt activities and theft of public money while working at Mogadishu’s National Immigration Agency.
President Hassan Sheikh has made it clear that his government will not tolerate any type of corruption or theft of public resources. The government is committed to ensuring accountability and justice in cases involving such offences.
