(15-07-23) MOGADISHU – Mr. Abdi Hirsi Abdullahi, the Speaker of Somalia’s Senate, and Mr. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Noor, the Speaker of Somalia’s House of Representatives, met at the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Somalia “Villa Hargeysa” in Mogadishu on Saturday.
Both representatives’ deputies were also present at the meeting. The meeting’s goal was to hand over the agreement reached by the National Consultative Council, analyse it, and modify the legal tone through (a constitutional body) the Constitution’s Review and Monitoring Committee.
The revised agreement would then be submitted to both federal parliamentary houses in order for them to carry out their constitutional responsibilities.
